0. Background:
0.1 The interpretation of these Terms of Access shall be read in accordance with the following Definitions:
0.1.1 "Web Site"
This on-line presence, constructed of HTML pages, stored and maintained electronically for the sole purpose of providing access by an End-User through the medium of the internet
0.1.2 "Service Provider"
Rice~Jones Solicitors, being the firm of partners responsible for the Web Site
0.1.3 "End-User"
The individual accessing the contents of this Web Site, through whatever medium and by whatever means
0.2 Access to this Web Site is deemed to constitute acceptance of the terms of access which follow

1.0 Warranties:
1.1 Neither the Service Provider, nor any of its officers, directors, employees, agents, third party content providers, publishers, sponsors, licensors, or the like, warrant that the Web Site will be uninterrupted or error free; nor do they warrant the results that may be obtained from use of the Web Site, or the accuracy, reliability, or currency of any information, content, service or merchandise provided through the Web Site.
1.2 The Service Provider makes no representations or warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, as to the operation of the Web Site, or the information, content, materials, goods or products included on the Web Site.
2.0 Restrictions:
2.1 The End-User accepts that they shall :
2.1.1 not without prior permission from the Service Provider, make any attempt whatsoever to reverse compile copy or adapt any part of the source code of the Web Site. Such access is unauthorised and strictly prohibited.
2.1.2 not Publish, allow to be published, send or receive materials that is defamatory, offensive, abusive indecent, obscene, threatening or in breach of human or civil rights, copyright, confidence, privacy or any other legal rights.
2.1.3 not use the Web Site other than a manner in accordance with accepted Internet usage standards and protocols.
2.1.4 abide by any acceptable user policy set in place by the Service Provider and or third party Internet service provider.
3.0 Hypertext Links:
3.1 This Web Site may contain hypertext links to Web Sites operated by other third parties. Such hypertext links are provided for reference only. The Service Provider does not control such Web sites and shall not be responsible for their contents, whatever they might be.
3.2 The inclusion of hypertext links to any third party Web Sites does not imply any endorsement by the Service Provider of the material on such Web Sites.
3.3 Special care should be taken should be taken when accessing non-UK based Web Sites, which will be subject to a different regulatory regime and consumer protections (if any).
4.0 Intellectual Property Rights:
4.1 The proprietary rights in the Web Site and the information contained on or within it, belong to the Service Provider. Designated trade marks, brands and logos are the property of their respective owners.
4.2 The End-User may not copy, distribute or redistribute the data, including by caching, framing (or similar means), sell, resell, retransmit or otherwise make the data retrieved from the Web Site available in any manner to any third party.
4.3 In particular, no part of the Web Site may be distributed or copied for any commercial purpose.
4.4 No licence is offered to the End-User to reproduce any part of this Web Site, other than for private individual use by way of temporary download (caching). No part of the Web site may be reproduced on, or transmitted to or stored in any other Web Site or other form of electronic retrieval system.
4.5 The End-User may view the content of the Web Site on screen. They may also print or download the pages to their local hard disk.
4.6 Any implied licence to access this Web Site by way of hypertext link, deep-liking, tagging or framing ("Links") is explicitly revoked
4.7 The End-User shall not be entitled (nor shall they assist others) to set up Links from their own web sites to this Web Site, without the prior written consent from the Service Provider.
4.8 Ultimately, the Service Provider may at its absolute discretion, and without reason withhold such consent, unless such a Links are made singularly and directly to the Home Page of the Web Site .
5.0 Exclusion of Liability:
5.1 All articles and materials displayed in the Web site are provided for information only and do not constitute legal advice, nor are they an offer to provide legal services.
5.2 It is recommended that the End-User obtains specific legal advice in connection with any particular query which they may have. The Service Provider does not accept any liability arising out of any reliance on the materials contained within the Web Site.
5.3 Under no circumstances whatsoever shall the Service Provider, or any other party involved in creating, producing or distributing the Web site or the information contained within it, be liable for; ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES that result form the use of or inability to use the Web site, including but not limited to reliance by the End-User on any information obtained from the Web site or that results from mistakes, omissions, interruptions deletion of files or e-mail, errors, defects viruses, delays in operation or transmission, or any failure of performance, whether or not resulting from acts of God, communications failure, theft, destruction or unauthorised access to the Service Providers records, programs or services. The End-User acknowledges that this clause shall apply to all content, merchandise, goods and services available through the Web Site.
5.4 Any opinions, advice statements, services, offers or other information that may constitute part of the content of the Web Site, expressed or made available by any third party, are those of the respective authors or distributors AND NOT the Service Provider, its officers, directors, employees or agents.
5.5 The third party content available throughout the Web Site may represent the opinion and judgement of the respective authors. The Service Provider does not endorse such opinions and judgements, nor is it responsible for its accuracy or reliability. Under no circumstances whatsoever shall the Service Provider be liable for ANY LOSS, DAMAGE OR HARM caused by an End-users reliance on the content of this third party information.
5.6 Although the Service Provider may from time to time monitor or review postings, discussions, chats, transmissions, bulletin boards and the like made through the portal of the Web site, the Service Provider is under no obligation to do so and does NOT ASSUME ANY RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY arising from the content of any such locations. Nor, for any error, omission, infringement, defamation, obscenity or inaccuracy contained in any information within such locations on this Web Site.
5.7 No part of these terms are intended to constitute an exclusion of any liability which cannot be excluded under English law.
6.0 Jurisdiction & Applicable Law:
6.1 These Terms of Access, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
7.0 Termination:
7.1 The Service Provider may terminate the End-users access to this Web Site at any time, without reason or without prior consent.
